XeoNoX
Is there a way to rename "eth0" to "wlan0"?
Ronin
Dont know but I have to ask why would you want to anyhow?
Gowator
Yes but like Ronin says, WHY??? If your trying to get wlconfig or the wlan tools to work then just use eth0 instead of wlan0 If this gives you errors or problems then they will still be there when you change the name so you accomplish nothing except some aethetics. Ive got my Wifi set up and working as eth2 and all the wlan config stuff all works with it. On my laptop (different distro) its called wlan0 .... Its really not worth changing the defaults becuase any config tool you used to set them up will rename them...
