Paul_Vandenberg Posted November 18, 2002 Report Share Posted November 18, 2002 Hi, I use Mandrake 9.0 and I keep getting the 'Removable media' icon on my desktop. It never used to be there. It started appearing when I changed my DVD drive and floppy drive from Supermount to manual mount. I had to do this because I was having problems reading DVDs from my DVD drive. I turned it back to Supermount, but the icon keeps appearing. BTW..it seems that Supermount wasn't the problem. Having the type set to auto seems to be the culprit. Having supermount enabled and type set to 'ISO9660' seems to be OK. Which leads me back to my problem.....that annoying icon!
