phunni
The way I upgraded Evolution was simply to download the mandrake cooker rpm from rpmfind.net The first time I tried to install it I was told of some missing dependencies, so I downloaded those from rpmfind.net as well. once I had everything, it installed perfectly - whole thing took about 15 minutes. I'm a bit shy about using red carpet myself, last time I tried that, it played with some of my settings - nothing disasterous, but I didn't like it. DragonMage
I prefer texstar's evolution 1.2 myself.. He probably took the mirror source and edit it a bit to make the dependencies more bearable to a stock 9.0. All the needed dependencies are either located in his site or on the disks, so no need to search for them.
