well i do know the cable modem feels it pluged in..because when i plug it in the cable modem status is solid..the internet wont connect though

i looked at the linux usb site buts it all to confusing for me.. sorry im a newb..and im running 9.2

i installed mdk 9.2 but onnly two problems...no sound..and cable modem drivers dont work for linux :wacko:

yes i tried checking the hard drake and it does detect it but i just not geting any sound

grrr. my laptop doesnt support ethernet... are u sure there isnt some kind of command thingy

COM 21 Model DP1110XB-N. how would i install the drivers. its in disk format...and when i used xp i would have to go to add new hard ware and get it from a: :unsure: it wasnt in the install drivers it comes with either.

goood news everyone i found out how ot boot disk, during start up press esc simultaniously and it will give u a boot menu asking cdrom floppy or whatever. i chose cdrom and bam installed it in less than an hour.
