Winex 3 Finaly runs gta3, warcraft III and a bunch of other games perfectly and there Point2Play is good it makes everything alot easyer if you are new to linux. hopefully they will make it better maybe addin a graphical game launcher maybe even somethgin like battle.net where you could talk to other "transgamers" or whatever would be nice and see whos playing what games. It would almost make the mebership worth it. :)

I just installed the new nvidia drivers again on a system i upgraded from 9.0 to 9.1 when i try to start glxgears i get this error glxgears Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual does anyone know what this is about?

yea theres lots of games like that you can play like Heratic, Doom, Doom2, Quake 1, Quake II, Duke 3D, Rise of the Triads, Blood, Postal and im sure there are still more.

Wow man i sure love winex ive got there t-shirt blankets, pillow covers and everything as part of a winex insider. I think i might donate lots of money to them to further development!

i have just installed them i havent noticed too much of a improvment over the last one but there is a nice little installer witch should be nice for people who dont know how to edit there XF86Config and such.

I have just upgraded to 9.1 and have installed winex from RPM. The program runs fine when i type winex and such but when i go to install anything i get this error. [drew@x1-6-00-04-5a-82-b9-04 cdrom]$ winex install.exe wine: lstat /home/drew/.transgaming/wineserver-x1-6-00-04-5a-82-b9-04/socket : No such file or directory does anyone know what might be wrong?

I just upgraded to Mandrake 9.1 and most everything seems to be working except my soundcard ? i have a soundblasters live witch was working perfectly in 9.0 but doesnt seem to work at all in 9.1 i have open hard drake and changed the driver from audigy to emu101k i set it and each time it defaults backt o audigy??? can i delete the audigy driver so it doesnt default back to it?? andone know what i should do to fix this? so my sounds works :) here is some additional information im not sure if it will help though? I tryed useing the loki update but it didnt work? Listing product updates Tactical Ops: Assault On Terror ERROR: No file specified in URL Unable to retrieve update list is there another mirror i could get this from that would work or a .tar.gz with the update files in them?

does anyone know if there is just a tar.gz or .zip with the update files in it?

heh, Mandrake 9.1 has been my best mandrake install YET better than 8.1 9.0 or 9.1 rc2 :) everything was up and working within minutes

I just upgraded to the new mandrake 9.1 and everything is working great on it so far except when i went to install tactical ops the installer worked fine but the upgrade seems to be giving me some Segmentation fault error? anyone know whats going on ive already checked it and its the full file and such. sh tacticalops-3.3.2-x86.run Verifying archive integrity...
