  1. Well, this is kind of a bump, but......

     

     

    Legends .0.4.0B has been released. It is a major upgrade to Legends. New weapon models, new player models, 3 new gameplay types, and some more. Give it a look over, you wont be dissappointed.

    Return to Castle Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory -- free, Quake 3 engine

    Quake 2 -- old times eh?

    Legends -- free, based off of the torque engine

    Wesnoth -- free, turn-based startegy game

    FreeCiv -- like Civ 1, but free

    Flightgear -- free, flight sim

    GLTron -- free, I perfer it over Armegatron

    BZFlag -- free, multiplyer BZ game... OpenGL

  3. Alright, time for yall to know one of my "hidden talents". I have taken 2+ years of drafting and have been a wood craftsman since I was 12 (it's my dad's favorite hobby). anyway, I have drafted a design for an entertainment center and a computer desk. I want to redo my plans in an autocad compatable program

  4. I think I have found the easiest way to install Debain. You may find it cheap, but it only requires one CD and a good internet connection. Everyone knows that Knoppix is basically Debain, and that it is possible to install it on the hard drive. So here is the easiest way I have found it install Debian.

     

    1) Download and burn the latest version of Knoppix

    2) Install Knoppix to the HDD

    3) Find the offical latest Debain sources.list and replace the orginal Knoppix one

    4) Run "apt-get clean" "apt-get update" and finally "apt-get gnome" (if your a gnome fan)

     

     

    ...and bang you have a fully functional Debain installation on your HDD

  5. Ok, back in 2000 I got a brand new computer with a printer and scanner from Gateway. Anyway, I dont really use my scanner much (this is the first time it's been ooked up in over a year), but I cant find linux driver for it. It is a Visonieer Onetouch 8100 scanner. Little help?
