nawill81
i just installed 9.2, i have a router with cable modem and computers hooked to it. windows and redhat give me no trouble, i install, they detect and setup automatically, everything is fine. mandrake seems to detect my network card, dhcp assigns ips and everything. but i still have no connection. anybody else have this problem or have any ideas? liquidzoo
I had a similar problem at my friends house, but it was on a wireless connection. It turns out that if he turned on the "broadcast" option for his SSID, I could get it just fine. Maybe there's an option in the router config? It is odd, though, that you can connect from both Windows and RedHat with no problems. In my situation, I can "see" the network now from Windows, but I have no option to connect to it.
