kilimanjaro Posted November 21, 2003 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2003 I finally got a firewall to work. It only took 4 months. I had to remove my firewall and the iptables, then I urpmi firestarter and it installed the ip tables as a dependency. I tried the same thing with shorewall and guarddog and niether worked, but for some reason firestarter does. Anybody know why? Is firestarter different somehow?
