I suppose they do rather well in the corporate world, I think it's a cool move for them to open their distro, although I think there are different motives than what they say. Maybe they are losing out on the home user market? Not sure - but for RH and Deb users to be able to use these packages together? That would be reallllly cool. DragonMage Posted October 26, 2003 Report Share Posted October 26, 2003 This is cool. I mean.. debian may be great as far as linux distribution is concerned but their installation scheme is horrible. (5 people I know tried to install debian and only one person can do it.. even then he cannot repeat his success).
