Guest Jaw3000
I can't boot into Mandrake 9.2 RC2 and would appreciate any help! I had Mandrake and Wndows installed on two partitions, and then used a third partition to install Red Hat, which overwrote my GRUb boot loader, and now I can't boot into Mandrake. Is there anywhere I can download a boot floppy for Mandrake? I've seen boot floppies for Mandrake installation, but I already have it installed and now I need to boot to it. I'd need to create the boot floppy in either WinXP or Red Hat Severn. Also, if possible, I'd like some help editing my grub.conf to re-include Mandrake. I know Mandrake 9.2 RC2 is on hdc5, but I don't know what the grub command would be (hd0,4?)? Also, I'm not sure what the kernal and initrd lines should be? Thanks! Ixthusdan
Put cd1 into the drive. At the splash screen, hit F1 and type "rescue". Reinstall grub from here. It will detect all of your os's.
