Guest monkman Posted October 8, 2003 Report Share Posted October 8, 2003 hi! i just wanted to ask whether there is a possibility to force modelines? i want to run a resolution of 1152x868 on my system with at least 85Hz. but default it just runs with 75Hz. switching to 1280x1024 it runs with 85Hz. my hardware is capable of doing that (w2k just runs fine).... i took the XF86Config and set a "#" bevor each modeline concerning 1152x.. except one i modiefied. (took the specifications of my monitor and used an online tool) but this had no effect: still 75Hz what can i do now? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
