Sarissi
My basic, but, very important question (to me), is: Will Win4lin version 4 run on ANY Linux filesystem, or is it limited to ext2????? If there are limitations, please post which ones it will NOT work on (so I and others know which ones to avoid). Thank you in advance! mystified
I don't know about any fs but I've used it on Reiser with no problems.

Sarissi
Thanks a bunch, guys! Now, I will have a hardware question related to Win4lin kernels that I will post in Hardware section.
Crashdamage
Upgrade to Win4Lin 5 if you can - it's worth it. Has partial DirectX support (software only) much improved cut/paste between native Linux apps/apps running in Win4Lin, other improvements. Sarissi
Well, I am back up and running. I will upgrade to version 5, when I can do so. On one other interesting note, my /home is a maxtor 160 gig hdd and win98se in win4lin v4, sees the entire 160 gigs!! Sure can't say that, even for the fdisk that comes with my win98se, which only sees 29 gigs of the drive!! I am running it in 24 bit color, too. Here I thought I was stuck with 16 bit. :D I have finally seen the end of dual booting.
