Steve Scrimpshire
Is there a way I can simulate the rpm options --replacepkgs --replace-files? I had a lockup and reiser screwed up and I lost some files and I was using the cooker mirrors to upgrade to a virtual 9.2. Well, already did the upgrade, but I was planning to check and see what files were missing and was hoping I could force urpmi to replace an rpm still installed that might be missing files. I had a couple reinstalls of 9.2 from 9.1 that tought me these lessons. Tim
Guest anon
KPackage will give you all those options, including TEST (do not install)
Guest kuchwas
KPackage will give you all those options, including TEST (do not install) How can you scan for missing libraries or missing dependencies due to missing packages in KPackage? I just cannot fine it. running "rpm -Va | grep missing" is the only thing I have found that works. I know there are always many ways to accomplish the same things in linux.
