Got mine working and am amazed... downloading 9.2 rc2 now

Estimated time left: 555 hours 56 min 36 sec to go!

By the time it is downloaded Mdk 10 will be out and Mdk store will be starting to deliver 9.0 to the ones that pre-ordered in mid-2002!

Hey thats fast!!

Mine said a 1057 hours left to d-load, and the upload speed is faster than the d-load

Iwas planning on putting the bittorrent 9.2 final on our server, but it seems by the time i have d-loaded it, the ISOs will be available. :(

Well, I got too excited and checked again. My father used to say, "A watched pot never boils!" (I hated it when he said that too!)

My Estimated Time Left is currently: 1382 hours 05 min 32 sec

Sorry rcxau you will have to wait a few decades longer...

Anna: This is more fun than the "sleepless" thread!

I am concerned that even with athcool running, my cpu will overheat from passing all this traffic!

EDIT: always curious, I peeked at the GUI again...

Estimated Time Left: 3202 hours 32 min 33 sec

I can hardly wait!

- hoping that you'll post a screenshot after you are done - ääh, in about 3200 hours?

--anna, just installing Aurox Linux 9.1, you never know which funny decision the Mandrake management will do the next weeks and months

I have been working with bt off and on for about a week. I had read somewhere that it would be useless behind a Linksys router. Don't you listen to the naysayers. Go to advanced > forwarding on the Linksys web buttons and insert the port range 6881 to 6889 and port 6969 into the port columns with the IP of your downloading machine in the address column and annotate both rows with bittorrent. then execute:

bttrack.py -p 6969 -d dstate --allowed_dir /home/images/torrent

now execute:

btdownloadgui.py --url http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/torrent/Mandrak...586.iso.torrent

and receive 1950 meg package of all 3 rc2 isos at about the full download rate of your ISP. Mine ran about 200 kB/sec!
