bromar
Trying to get phpMyAdmin up and running. MySQL is running. When I hit http://localhost/admin/phpMyAdmin/index.php the message 'cannot load MySQL extension' is displayed. The phpMyAdmin documentation says it's likely that mysql.so needs to be installed but the file is there under /usr/lib/php/extensions/. Are there any logs that might point to the source of the problem? Any other options to be tried? Thanks for the help.
Guest sas
I *think* i read about the default permissions being set wrong, but that may be something else to do with mysql. Have installed all (4) the mysql rpms (client, devel and two others iirc)
