jeanrev
I could not find out the exact command to split the file "leabook-20030811-1mdk" in order to transfer it to another PC via floppies. This file is 3.2 Mb and I cannot understand the split help on the bash console I typed "split -b 1400 leabook-20030811-1mdk" in the file repertory but the answer was "produire les suffixes des fichiers épuisés" other question : can I put a star (*) to shorten the file name ? Thanks for your help
