Guest bottlelee
Somebody help me! Is there a Diamond Monster Sound MX200 driver for linux? Does MDK9.1 can drive this sound card? Thanks!!!
Ixthusdan
I think the sound blaster driver will work.
Guest bottlelee
I'm a beginner in linux. Could you tell me how to?
Ixthusdan
Go to the Mandrake Control Center KDE>Configuration>Mandrake Control Center Inside the control Center, go to hardware Select the sound card. At the bottom right is a button to push for launching a configuration program. Click it and allow mandrake to detect the card. It should offer to use the emu10k or the snd-emu10k drivers. These are the sound blaster drivers. Select one and see what happens. Make sure your sound is turned up. Select a volume control program (I use aumix) and check for mutes and volume settings. Some people had their card working, but mutes on and volumes all the way down!
