Original error: lpr: unable to print file: client-error-not-found Error in bgerror: can't find package msgcat" It will not print at all. :? any ideas
liquidzoo
Just my thought, I had a similar problem with my HP printer until I went into PrinterDrake (found in the Mandrake Control Center) and updated my driver there to point to the correct printer, works like a charm now. Not saying that is definitely your problem, but it might be worth a shot.

liquidzoo
I noticed when I looked at my own printerdrake that, where the Z55 isn't there, there are 2 other Z5x printers. Might one of those work?
Guest jguinn1
I tried that as well with all the Z** printers to no avail
emh
Are you using CUPS as your printer server or LPRng? And is the printer USB or parallel cable?
