bvc Posted August 20, 2003 Report Share Posted August 20, 2003 As long as the new partition isn't / /boot /usr /var you should be able to boot with just an error. If not, just '#' comment out the new line in fstab>change; /dev/hdb5 bla bla bla to #/dev/hdb5 bla bla bla reboot, then uncomment the new line; #/dev/hdb5 bla bla bla to /dev/hdb5 bla bla bla then format and mount.
