Guest mahiles
I opened Mandrake Mission Control to see what it was and now it loads everytime I start kde. Theres only one way I know of starting something with kde and thats with the Autostart directory and theres nothing in there. Is there anywhere else it might be? mtweidmann
There used to be an option which told KDE to remember "sessions" when you logged out. The next time you lgged in, it would open all those things that had been oen when you logged out. If you switched the option off it would use the last set of saved sessions. That was KDE2, and the option was on the log out dilog box. Could be something similar, try taking a look in KDE Control Centre.

mtweidmann
/home/<user>/.kde/ This is where all the settings for KDE and KDE apps are stored, including the autostart directory. The '.' at the beginning of KDE means that its a hidden directory so it might not show up.
