fuzzylizard
Hello, Does anyone know if it is possible to download additional/regional dictionaries for OpenOffice.org? I am specifically looking for a Canadian one. No offense to Americans but I like spelling center as centre and color as colour. I would just like a dictionary/spell checker that knew how to spell Canadian style. Any ideas?
thelorax
Other openoffice.org dictionaries can be found here http://whiteboard.openoffice.org/lingucomp...lets=31ste85y13 Instructions for using them are also on that page, or you can use the automated installer found here http://ooodi.sourceforge.net/ There is a Canadian dictionary there, but no New Zealand one :(

Guest anon
As you like spelling color colour, and center centre ( the correct way  ) Why don't you use the English( British ) English Dicts ??

DragonMage
I think the OO dictionaries for Canadian and UK English are included in the Mandrake CDs, the files are: myspell-en_GB-1.0.1-0.20020903.4mdk myspell-en_CA-1.0.1-0.20020315.4mdk Just install them and change the default document language to Canada or UK. I checked it with my OO and sure enough, using Canadian English, 'color' is marked while 'colour' is left alone. :)

So, the only dictionary that I had was for English(US).
