Rowan
Hello all. I have just installed Opera 9.52, as an rpm, and it works well but something strange has happened. It is all installed but there is no entry in the browser section of K Menu and so I am having to use konsole to start it. How do I make an entry in the kmenu it get around this minor glitch? Thanks in anticipation
ianw1974
Did you log out and back in again? Sometimes I found when I installed Opera that it didn't appear in my Gnome menu until I did this. I also remember it ages back when I used KDE too. If it doesn't come there, you can create a menu entry simply enough or just create an icon for it on your desktop. But log out and back in again first, just in case that sorts it. {BBI}Nexus{BBI}
Just to let you know Opera 9.60 has just been released. :)
Rowan
I managed to fumble my way through to get Opera on the K menu and it works ok there. I would prefer not to update Opera at this stage - 9.52 works ok for me. I only have it because Mozilla and Konqueror do not seem to be able to display IE 6 exclusive pages. Many thanks
