DOlson
The source has been released, now we wait for someone who knows how to port, to port it. This game is freeware, so basically, it'll be a free Linux game once the port is done. http://dink.sf.net/ if you know how to code and want to help. ramfree17
i saw my brother played this one. Its very good but the initial "quest" that comes with it is rather short. Have they added additional quests? ciao!
DOlson
It's not that short... Maybe your brother played the shareware, limited version, back in the day. But yes, there are lots of D-mods out there. Either way, it's still a free game, and since it's open source, people can now make their own full games using the engine. Guest JaseP
Hey. DOlson, I see a WordPerfect Icon on your Gnome desktop... Which version of WordPerfect for Linux is that???
Guest Takmadeus
hmmmmm which gnome version is that?.... it looks really really cool PS: can you upload the port to some server so we can play it as well ;)
DOlson
That's WordPerfect 8 (the free version). I got it working because my sister needs it for her schoolwork, and I tested it on my system before I put it on theirs. I have a thread for this in Software, I think. I haven't got the WPO2000 that I bought to work since it uses Wine (sorta like how Transgaming's Sims and Kohan games do) and now it's horribly broken on new distros. Dink Smallwood is up at dink.sf.net This is Gnome 2.4. Doesn't really look much different than 2.2 to me. :)
