qeldroma
Is there a noticable difference? Is it woth buying a usb-cable instead of my parallel one?
DragonMage
Yes, USB printing is a much more pain no matter what OS you use, windows, linux, whatever. Parallel all the way baby :)
Counterspy
Linux does not seem to have caught up totally with USB yet, so I too would go parallel. Counterspy

qeldroma
I am hoping it'll be faster, but i don't understand "better". The transfered Data should be the same, though. Am i right? Somebody experienced with the actual epson series concerning USB & LM 9?

Somebody experienced with the actual epson series concerning USB & LM 9? Epson 760 via USB - prints without any problem. There used to be a problem around two years ago, but it was quickly solved ( Epson printers require some control sequence to be set to them so that they start receive jobs via USB, and this very fact was undocumented).
