FX
Installed fine. Click on the icon in the games list and the AA splash screen comes up and and thats it. Chromium and Wolfenstein ET play fine. Anyone have any ideas? Should I uninstall and then reinstall. If so, I don't really know the command for uninstall. Thanks for the help ahead of time. FX
Ummm ok, did I mention that I am a newbie So then my next question is, how do you run it in shell? Fx
liquidzoo
open a terminal window (shift + F2 and type konsole and hit enter) then type armyops in the terminal window.
FX
Sorry Im running RH 9 with gnome. I don't think that command will work. I tried reading through some of the man pages but couldn't really find anything. Any more help I could get would be greatly appreciated. tyme
open a terminal (in gnome, you can run a program from one of the menus-or you can look in the menu for gnome-terminal) and just type armyops if this returns command not found, find out where your armyops binary is and reference it directly. i.e.: /usr/local/bin/armyops or /usr/local/games/armyops/armyops (these are just guesses I don't remember where it's installed by default.) ravage
sounds like a corrupt install do you have limited space in /tmp ?
FX
Sorry been out for awhile. Anyways I don't know much about the /tmp file. Can I just delete stuff out of there to make more room if needed? If not then what do I do? Thanks FX
jlc
/tmp is just temporary, it is flushed out when you reboot.
tyme
/tmp is just temporary, it is flushed out when you reboot. only if you set it to be, which you can do in mcc -> boot options -> somewhere in there.
