tyme
Now they start the move to Mozilla Firebird. The major changes after 1.4 involve switching to Mozilla Firebird and Thunderbird...

sud_crow
Did anyone noticed 'uglier´ fonts with the new 1.4?? i think they are less antialiased or whatever you call it, and by the way. I dont seem to find any new 'big' stuff, for being the final Mozilla release, i thought it would at least bring a new skin... Well, any way, its the best! tyme
I dont seem to find any new 'big' stuff, for being the final Mozilla release... It's not really the final mozilla release, they're just moving the mozilla codebase to be firebird-esque or something.
sud_crow
Yes... But its actually the last MOZILLA release. They may start calling Mozilla Firebird the new generation in a near future, but as far as i know, Firebird is its going to replace Mozilla and i dont think its the same, i mean, they are changing something else than the name...arent?? thats all i meant... ramfree17
Firebird is just the web-browsing component. mozilla is the whole kaboodle of packages like irc client, mail client, etc. mozilla is becoming like emacs and is contrast to the philosophy of *ni that prefers small tools that can be used together to provide a bigger solution. at least thats what i understand. this is the first time i heard of thunderbird. ciao!
