FX Posted July 1, 2003 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2003 Reading through here should I use Mandrake instead? I have used it alittle on my laptop but never tried to configure a server with it. How is EASY does MCC make it to setup a Samba, FTP, DNS, and Apache server? If its easier that what Im doing now I can switch. I don' that much invested on my server YET. FX Posted July 1, 2003 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2003 I think I figure out why I cannot get into the Linux pc or the folder that I have setup for sharing on the linux machine. I never wen into the properties of the folder and made it a share or anything like that. Would that be a reason why I cannot get in with any password I give?
