Apok Posted May 25, 2008 Report Share Posted May 25, 2008 i have just installed Mandriva to my pc. i have to connect wirelessly to a 2WIRE modem, but the system wont connect. i put the security number in and all of the right info, but it still wont connect. orts Posted May 25, 2008 Report Share Posted May 25, 2008 Which wireless card are you using? you proberly have to set up RPMdrake first, look at post number 2 in this tread how it's done https://mandrivausers.org/index.php?showtopic=59144&hl= After you have done that, then open MCC, press ALT+F2 type mcc, type your Administrator password when promt, go to HARDWARE -> BROWSE AND CONFIGURE HARDWARE, now there is a good chance that Mandriva can find the right driver for your wireless card. Apok Posted May 25, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 25, 2008 its a linksys. it says it recognized it but maybe its lying to me, lol. i dont understand fully what different messages mean. one word can mean totally different things on computer vs english.
