I have created icons on my desktop from long ago (I disable superboondogle) , and they always carry over. I think they are loaded from your /.kde profile. The only time something disappears from my setup is when the upgrade requires me to reload some software, or additionally upgrade some software. Liquid seems to do that. I just never thought they had forums..Anyways thanks for all the help everyone I can always get to the cdrom the old fashion way by typing in the path..
