xboxboy
Hi all, Im running 2008, with a HP psc 1315 printer. It prints text blue rather than black. I have even gone to the length of downloading the driver through the HP website. No luck everything is still blue. Its not the ink itself as I can scan fine in black, and it works fine under windows. Any ideas guys?
scarecrow
You probably need a newer hplip version? What's the output of urpmq hplip in a root console? A friend of mine has this thing, and both the printer and the scanner are working properly. The only regression is that sometimes the graphical setup tool (hp-toolbox) does not work properly, so you'd rather run "hp-setup" from a root console. The proper print class, according to the hplip site, is "DJ3600" Edited April 29, 2008 by scarecrow

Greg2
You need to add the /main/backports to your sources, then update the package list.
