Sunwatcher Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 I have an old laptop, an HP Omnibook 6100, and I'm running 2008 Powerpack. Everything (pretty much) works great, but the age of the machine means that I don't have USB 2.0, and the sound card hisses and pops -- something it did running windows too. I would like to use a USB 2.0 cardbus adapter and perhaps a sound card too. Can I do this? Are there any particular cards that are known to work? Anything I should stay away from?
