Like this one: http://www.gearxs.com/gearxs/product_info....roducts_id=8094 you know $16 and you get 3 more SATA's and a PATA. HOWEVER, I do NOT want to use mine as a RAID controller. I'm a data junky nd I just need some more hard drives. ALSO my currennt MP ECS PM400M7 has both 4 PATA's and 2 SATAS. can this card be used? will I THEN have 5 SATAS and 5 PATAS? that would be perfect. Like back in the REAL SCSI days. You know 3 MFM drives 2 SCSI cards with a max of 7 HD's on each card? You know, the kind of tower that heats your home in the winter? Any and all ideas would be appreciated. AussieJohn Posted April 7, 2008 Report Share Posted April 7, 2008 Yes I have one and it works AOK. It includes RAID capability but you do not have to use RAID since it is not default. The one I use is called BESTA and is a two port. I use it for my Sata LG DVD burner while my Mainboard's two SATA ports are used for my two SATA HDDS.
