Guest nuggets123 Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 Hi!! I recently updated my nvidia drivers to 169.12 through the software management option in mandriva. But after updating, mandriva would only boot in console and when I run the command startx, it shows this error about my graphics device (EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device! (EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration. Im using mandriva 2008.0 and a Geforce 7300gt card.. I haven't had this problems when I was using the previous nvidia drivers..
