Guest cazzandra Posted March 12, 2008 Report Share Posted March 12, 2008 Hello! I have installed Mandriva on a partition. Before the installation the partoition had ubunutu. Mandriva is installed on the D drive and on the C drive I have windows me. After the installation Mandriva asked for root password. I typed in a password. I also typed in username password an real name in the admin. I have been very careful and checked that I have wrtotten it right. But I can´t get into Mandriva. I tried to reinstall Mandriva ( using the alternative existing partition.) And the same problems came up. I have GRUB boot and I have installed from a live cd 2008. Can anyone please help me? No at a stationary pc. I have tried to install a 3thrd time but the same happends and I have looked very carefully for num lock and caps lock and typed the pasword slowly and carefully.
