Guest turbocueca
Hello. I-m using Mandriva 2008.0 One, with KDE. I want it not to turn off the display, it is supposed to stay always on in order to show information for a shop, however it refuses to accept the configuration on KDE. I also disabled the DPMS option on xorg.conf, and with enabled I-ve run these two commands> $ xset -dpms $ xset s off The first one did not have success, giving the error "server does not have extension for -dpms option" If someone could help me to make the screen stay always on, I-d be very grateful. Thank you. [moved from Software by spinynorman]
arctic
Have you adjusted the power-saving settings in the kde-control center already?
Greg2
It would also help us to know if your system is a desktop or laptop. If it's a laptop, are you using kpowersave or klaptop?
