Guest hmayr
Hello, I was wondering if anybody has successfully configured a IPsec VPN tunnel from a Mandriva Linux system to a CheckPoint Firewall? More specifically I am using Mandriva Spring 2007 and on the far end is a CheckPoint firewall on a Nokia IP 350. IKE with a pre-shared secret and 3DES as the encryption algorithm should be used. Are there any good HOW-TO's out there? I couldn't find any but then again I might not have used the right parameters. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! cheers, Harald
ianw1974
You just need a guide for configuring IPSEC regardless of the firewall. Providing it accepts IPSEC connections, and you've configured the IPSEC how you want, then you just need to sort out using OpenVPN or racoon for making the connection. There's also freeswan as well. Check which one your distro has available and then look for configuring the IPSEC client. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q...earch&meta= that might yield some results for you.
