rohitsz Posted October 17, 2007 Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 Greetings there, It has been just hours since i upgraded to a newer hardware :D MoBo : Intel DG31PR Processor : Intel Core 2 DUO E6550 RAM :2x1GB HDD : 250GB SATA The mobo has lan and graphics card on board. Please tell me which mandriva distribution to go for (64bit or not) Also i got a CD with the mobo that has drivers for windows. Do/whether i need to get intel drivers after installing mandriva? But in general, I'd probably install the i586 edition on an x86-64 machine unless I knew I was going to be using it for some kind of task where x86-64 native code actually produces a substantial speed improvement, which is not the case for general tasks.
