Gayle
Has anyone else had a problem running gedit under 2008.0 KDE? It loads fine but crashes when I select the menus with either mouse or keyboard! Amule crashes when I download servers. Can anyone help? Valikhan
I am not sure gedit is a part of KDE. I think gedit is a part of GNOME and analog of it in KDE is KWrite.
Reiver_Fluffi
Wht use gedit when you can use one of the KDE native applications, Kate or Kwrite?
Greg2
What errors do you receive when it crashes, if you start it from the command line? I'm curios, why do you prefer gedit over a KDE editor, e.g., kate or kwrite? What errors does Amule give you when it crashes?
arctic
Well, all I can tell is that in Gnome, gedit works perfectly. As said: Start the apps from a terminal and check for error messages.
qandd
It works fine for me, 2008 under KDE.
