Guest ScottM
The first install i did on mandriva the clock was set to the correct time with no problems. i had to reload do to some issues (brought upon myself) but after the reload I went to set the clock to the correct time zone and the correct time, after apply the screen goes black and reboots and just states setting time and just sits there. now if i do a reboot the system comes up fine but with the incorrect time. what am i doing wrong with setting the time? scarecrow
Is it a dualboot (windows/linux) system? If it is, then you should use Localtime instead of UTC, and avoid using NTP (Network Time Protocol) - else you will constantly encounter such problems.
