Challenge! Gentoo xcomposite [resolved]

Ok, I posted this on the Gentoo board and nobody could help. tyme is going to say gremlins again I know! Anyway, a couple of days ago I had to reboot and I got an error that composite had crashed twice and then another one saying that I had to enable composite in xorg by add the enable composite lines. Which of course I have. And I have composite as a use flag. Here's my xorg.conf.

There are no errors or warnings in my xorg.log. I have googled and haven't found anything. So, any ideas guys?

Driver "nv"

I'm almost positive you can't use composite with the "nv" driver - even so, you would get better performance from the nvidia driver.. I also think you need to have GLX loaded, but it's commented out:

I could be wrong. I haven't used xcomposite in a while.

I changed it to nvidia earlier and I can now load the nvidia driver without the xcomposite errors but it created a different problem for me. Now I have to figure that one out!

It's a catch 22 sitituation. I need kcompmgr or I get an error at boot. In order to get kcompomgr I have to use xcomposite as a use flag. If I use xcomposite then I get the errors I started out with. So I'll just live with the error and it's not like I reboot very often and eventually it'll work itself out. It usually does.
