Ixthusdan
Can someone please explain what bad signatures are on a file and why I am suddenly getting this warning with almost every rpm I install that is not found on the CD's? MottS
I get the warnings too.. but I just don't care and press 'continue'. I think there is a signature in every rpms. This way, rpmdrake can know if the rpm is from mandrake or somewhere else. If the rpm is from somewhere else it could maybe *hurt* your system or something like that. Rpmdrake just warns you of that.. but do like everyone does.. press 'continue' .. I'm not sure of that at all so someone could explain to me too .. Ixthusdan
I never saw the warning until 8.2, and then it was some obscure rpm's that I experimented with. But with 9.0, texstar's rpm's are giving me the warning, which never did previously.
MottS
Yeah.. I get the warning from textar and plf. But not the rpms from rpmfind.net. I also noticed that we get no warning if we install from command line (rpm -ivh *.rpm).. weird. MottS
Guest frew
well I think there is a file called signatures in the texstar archive, i suggest looking at that, as far as mdk, maybe they didn't get to updating sigs...
