Guest mongooseman1128
when I click on the mandriva online icon and go to add media I try to add either official updates and distribution sources (or something to that effect) both of them go for a while then return the error message There was an error downloading the mirror list: Couldn't Connect The network, or the mandriva website, may be unavailable. Please try again later. Is this problem because the mirrors are done at the moment or do I need to modify something? I was thinking maybe I needed to disable ipv6 (like in firefox I have to change the config to blacklist ipv6)
ianw1974
I'm not sure but I think the Mandriva Online icon was broken when 2007 was released. Go to your System/Configuration/Packaging menu, and in here there is an applet so you can add the sources. This is much better. Either that, or the servers you chose were too busy, and so you need to select alternative mirrors.
dexter11
There was an error downloading the mirror list This means the Mandriva tool couldn't download the list of Mandriva mirrors from which you could have chosen an server. If your internet connection is working then you can use easyurpmi to add a mirror.
