Guest watashi Posted May 23, 2007 Report Share Posted May 23, 2007 (edited) I am having the following problem with all versions of mandrake 9.1- Mandriva 2007 spring and the following hardware: ATI All in Wonder Radeon 8500LE The computer boots up completely to KDE at times: however only after i reset (reboot) the system a couple of time I might get the X window screen. I can log on fine to the system without X, however once I try startx I get a black screen and thats all. When I verify the log file this is the message I get: Fatal Server error: caught signal 11. Can someone help me. In ubuntu 7.04 everything works fine.
