hirohitosan
Hi there. How can I configure Apache web server to show the directory tree? Now, when I access my server to read the files the following error occur: Access forbidden! You don't have permission to access the requested directory. There is either no index document or the directory is read-protected. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. Error
scarecrow
Which directory tree? The root directory for Apache is regularly the one starting from the /htdocs directory.
Soka
You have to add the Indexes option in your httpd.conf file for the directory you want to list the files. You may also want to add some indexes options to get a better listing (long file names, folders appearing first, etc) <Directory /var/www/directory_to_view> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks IndexOptions NameWidth=* FoldersFirst </Directory>
