I don't understand why they release a product now with an already old version? Mind you I like the product itself and I think it is almost well priced (although I m not sure a novice to linux would try it out for £60). It functions just like a hard drive - you can read/write from it, upgrade, add/remove software, etc. It's basically a portable OS on a 4GB stick. You could do it yourself, if you had a 4GB stick laying around, but this way it's done for you, branded, and well...you get support, I guess.
