But while startup of LM8.2, both change to 100MBit halfduplex. Im not sure, but i think i didn't get any driverbootdisk, so... --------------------------------------------------- iferreira: You can check the network module used by your network card in the /etc/modules.conf file, like this: alias eth0 8139too the module for eth0 interface is 8139too, so you can check on Internet if there are options to this module, and configure the options in the /etc/modules.conf, like this: (Example only) options 8139too fullduplex=1 So you must know the correct options for the module. Also you must know that not all modules support these parameters. --------------------------------------------------- Glitz: Are you sure that your hub supports full duplex? Regular hubs don't. You usually need a switch or router to support full duplex. Do you get full duplex mode if you connect the two computers directly with a crossover cable (assuming you have one)? --------------------------------------------------- me: I don't have a xlink cable, but the hub.... hum, must look more exactly next time i get it under my fingers.... The only way of gettung "full" duplex via Hub is to only connect 2 Computers to the hub, but this way a hub is obsolete... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
