Guest sirsmiley Posted February 10, 2007 Report Share Posted February 10, 2007 I installed 64 bit version off cd (just have the first cd) i tried gnome and kde, it wants to install mesa demos off the bat and it runs this thing saying please choose your 3d graphics, it says non supported, fine i dont want to use it anyways...i can click help, which fails, cancel, which quits me out of X and i cant click OK its greyed out..how do i just #(*&$*#(&$ load X without this crap...i just want to use X.....it works fine install, i dont want the 3d garbage anyways... live cd works with metisse...im about to throw this mandriva disc against the wall help! Ixthusdan Posted February 11, 2007 Report Share Posted February 11, 2007 As you have found out, Acer laptops do not do 3D graphics (I have one) I would skip the wizard and just set up what you want later.
