qeldroma Posted October 9, 2002 Report Share Posted October 9, 2002 me: I got a second NIC, it's the same as the first and was totally configured and recognized by harddrake (old: eth0, new: eth1). ADSL is on eth0. After plugging in the new NIC, ADSL was gone. I reconfigured it and ifconfig now shows up a ppp0 interface, but it doesn't work! I can't get a connection or ping out. The IP's are different. eth1 is for LAN, eth0 for Interet connection via ADSL. -------------------------------------------------------------- me: What a wonder, if eth0 had changed to eth1 and so.....
