Guest cornbread
I am trying to follow this guide to install daemontools: *url posted in next message* I get to the install part and it gives me this error at the end: Linking ./src/* into ./compile... Compiling everything in ./compile... ./load envdir unix.a byte.a /usr/bin/ld: errno: TLS definition in /lib/libc.so.6 section .tbss mismatches non-TLS reference in envdir.o /lib/libc.so.6: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [envdir] Error 1 Copying commands into ./command... cp: cannot stat `compile/svscan': No such file or directory I've googled it and no luck... I am going to install djbdns after this because I hear it is way better than bind and I am also going to setup apache and a mail program server. I would also like to know what a good mailserver is that is simple and easy and comprehensive of course! TIA!!!
ianw1974
If you're using Mandriva, then you should be able to set up a mail server with one of their wizards. Do: urpmi drakwizard to install the wizards, then go into System/Configure/Configure Your Computer (also known as mcc) and then go from there. Otherwise, it depends on your requirements and what you're trying to achieve.
