Wireless and Ethernet (routing) error

What's all your IP details on PC1 then?

IP Address

Subnet

Gateway

DNS entries

Because if you can get to PC2 but no further, you have an ip routing problem. Either because of improper config on PC1 or ip_forward is not enabled on PC2. And this command:

[ian@europa ~]$ cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

should have produced a result of a 0 (zero) or a 1 (one). If neither, ip forwarding is not enabled, and will stop you gaining access to the internet.
